Can we consider music to be literature?

  • I think that music can be consider to be literature. The source of great music comes from literature.that's lyrical poetry and it is from it that most songs are put across.
  • Therefore, there is a great connection between literature and music;besides most of the music has its inspiration from stories which stories could be from legends, tales, fables(oral literature) or poems, short stories or even novels.
  •

How do we define literature?

  • writings in which expression and form, in connection with ideas of permanent and universal interest, are characteristic or essential features, as poetry, novels, history, biography, and essays.

What is the difference between a novel, a poem, a rap, a song, an opera, and a symphony?

  •  The difference is the sound. They all have stories to tell with different moods and emotions.
